We will start our tour with the windy city-Chicago, from the Millennium Park campus-a one of a kind
town square that is a lively and spectacular space in the heart of the city. It is home to the famous
Millennium Park that is known to host the summer music and film festivals, Chicago Cultural Center, Art
Institute of Chicago, Maggie Daley Park, famous Cloud Gate-aka-The Bean, etc.
After a nice stroll in the park, we will head to view the Chicago skyline from the 360 Chicago Observation
Deck in the iconic John Hancock Building. Experience a thrilling, downward facing view of the
Magnificent Mile with the new thrill ride-The Tilt.
Later, we will head to the Architectural Boat Tour. This is a great way to explore the city’s architecture
leisurely sailing down the Chicago River. Alternatively, you can also get a panoramic view of the city
from high up in the air on a helicopter too!
After this, you can enjoy a nice time in the Navy Pier. This is home to a small theme park with all the
carnival rides that you are sure to enjoy and a mini-golf course!
We will end our first day with a delicious dinner and rest for the night.
We will be starting our day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. We will start driving on the historic
Route-66 from Michigan Avenue. This significant road was the nation’s first all-weather highway that
linked Chicago with Los Angeles. It also reflects the origin and evolution of road transportation in the
country.
Next, we will head to Pontiac, IL. This is a city in Livingston County, IL and it lies on the Vermillion River. It
was also the setting to the Jamie Lee Curtis and Thomas Howell starrer, 1984 movie-Grandview. We will
be visiting the Route-66 Hall of Fame and Museum located in the Pontiac Museum Complex.
The next stop is Joliet, IL-the city of excitement. It is home to the Rialto Square Theater, Chicagoland
Speedway (NASCAR), Route-66 Raceway to name a few. The Joliet Prison, located on Collins Street, has
been featured in both television shows and movies like “The Blue Brothers”, “Public Enemies”, “Bad
Boys” and many more. The famous television series-Prison Break was also filmed here.
We will end the day with a sumptuous dinner and get back to Chicago for the night.
We are starting the day again with a hearty breakfast and start. The first stop will be the Harley
Davidson Museum near downtown Milwaukee. The awesome exhibits and tours will make for an
enthralling experience for one and all!
A trip to Milwaukee is never complete without a visit to The Miller Brewing Company. This facility was
the first brewery for the company and it also happens to be the headquarters.
From here we will go the Lake Geneva, WI. It is a resort city on Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. The shoreline
of this city is lined with mansions and historic estates with beautiful lawns. We will be exploring this
beautiful town by taking a cruise.
As always, we end the evening with a delicious dinner and head back to Chicago for the night.
We will save the last day of the tour for taking some more pictures and some shopping! After breakfast,
we will go on a city tour of Chicago in the morning. In this tour, we will get to see Grant Park, Chicago
theater, Chicago water tower, Michigan Avenue, Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain, Marina city,
Trump International Hotel & tower, Willis Tower, Navy Pier, etc.
Later we will head to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago for some shopping and free time.
It is time to say goodbye to this fun-filled city until your return for some more fun!
